Meet Our Finance Manager
Justin Keldani
I grew up in Saint Charles, Illinois, and am currently studying accounting and finance at DePaul University. Studying two majors so closely linked to corporate America, I felt I was in an environment I wasn’t used to. Both of my parents have a blue-collar background, and I didn’t know the first thing about asserting myself in a white-collar space. Fortunately, with the help of professors, upperclassmen, and my own time and energy, I was able to learn quickly and succeed
as a student both academically, and professionally.
This transitionary period for me certainly had it’s struggles as well. Feelings of self-
doubt, uncertainty, and not fulfilling my purpose are emotions that have and continue to plague me from time to time. Knowing countless younger students are going through a similar struggle provides an opportunity for me to give back. I consider myself lucky, as I met the right people during my journey. Not every student may have this chance. Being involved with SPM allows the opportunity for me to potentially be that resource for more students.
As Finance Manager, I get the opportunity to further expand my technical skillset, while also helping a fast-expanding non-profit achieve the financial capabilities it needs to sustain such growth. I’ve been able to build the skillset required for this role through multiple accounting internships I’ve held over the years. I’ve worked in roles involving tax, audit, and outsourced accounting services, at a regional and mid-market level. In 2025 I’ll be interning at two of the “Big Four” public accounting firms, in the Mergers and Acquisitions field, as well as the lending
due diligence space.
