Meet Our Inspirational Founder & CEO
Jacque Stefanic

As a bi-racial Chicago native with a unique upbringing spanning the Southside and West-city suburbs, I've navigated diverse racial, cultural, and economic landscapes, learning the importance of bridging divides and fostering inclusive communities.

Founding Serving People with a Mission (SPM) has been incredibly rewarding. Our name alone speaks to all. Our leaders are committed to service, leadership, and environmental justice, making a tangible impact on education, environmentalism, and the workforce. Despite our youth, SPM’s leaders bring invaluable experience to the community. Born from the challenges of COVID-19, SPM was driven by three dedicated college students to provide sustainable resources and knowledge for all.

I have been honored to receive several recognitions for my commitment to the community, including the 25Under25 Global Legacy Award from Common Purpose, the Whatever it Takes Award from Noble Schools, and the Damen Student Award from Loyola University Chicago. My professional experience spans roles in local nonprofits, higher education administration, economic development, and corporate recruiting. My deep-rooted involvement in the Chicago community includes serving as co-chair of the Young Leaders Fund (YLF) of the Chicago Community Trust (CCT), being an active member of the NAACP, a Scholarship Member of the Black Alumni Board of Loyola University Chicago, and the Alumni President of Noble Schools.

My educational journey began in Chicago Public Schools and Noble Schools. I earned an associate’s degree in business administration from Arrupe College and a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a focus on marketing and management from Loyola University Chicago’s Quinlan School of Business. I also completed the City of Chicago’s Community & Citizens Academy. Currently, I am pursuing a master’s of business administration as part of Loyola’s Quinlan School of Business Social Impact program.

I am deeply committed to fostering inclusive communities and driving impactful change. Learn more about my journey and how you can support Serving People with a Mission (SPM) in creating a lasting positive impact.
